REGISTRATION
The registration is open! The deadline for the registration is Sunday, 31 March 2019.
Each section should present a talk to introduce the section and section's activities and also a poster to show the best activity of the section in the last year. If the talk and the poster will be delivered by the same person, please mention talk in the registration.
SUBMISSIONS
Before the meeting, you need to upload two files:
1. An abstract for the writing workshop (see details below).
2. One slide for advertising your poster. All the slides will be shown one after the other right before the poster session, where you will have 30 seconds to advertise your poster with your slide (please use standard size 4:3 for your slide).
In the submission section, you can choose the type of upload (abstract or one slide). Please upload them
separately. The deadline for the submissions is Friday, 10 May 2019.
There will be a ''Best activity award'', generously sponsored by Europhysics letters (500€) and European Physical Society (200€).
ABSTRACT WRITING WORKSHOP
On the first day of the leadership meeting (24 May 2019) we will offer a 1 hour workshop dedicated to scientific writing. It will be facilitated by Anne Ruimy, Executive Publisher of the journal EPL.
The focus will be on how to write an effective abstract. For the writing workshop, please upload an unpublished abstract, either from a paper in preparation, a conference, or a brand new abstract about a current project (This abstract is not related to your talk or poster for the leadership meeting). You can find the abstract submission here.
The deadline for the abstract submission is Friday, 10 May 2019.
INFORMAL RECEPTION
There will be an informal reception on Thursday, 23 May 2019 at 19:00 at Steinbach-Bräu in Erlangen (Vierzigmannstr. 4, 91054 Erlangen).
It is right around the corner of the hotel in which you will be accomodated (see map below, information on how to get to the hotel can be found here).
